Although The Legend of Luoxiaohei does not have a significant amount of views on YouTube, this does not accurately reflect its overall popularity. The Ghibli-like Flash series about a little girl and her supernatural cat is something of a phenomenon in China, where it is produced. The story follows the adventures of the two protagonists. Tudou, which is China's version of YouTube, has played host to many viewers for each of the show's 27 episodes. In addition to this, a film adaptation titled "The Legend of Hei" is currently in the works.
