He felt his life was ended when he was condemned to death by lethal injection after making the mistake of turning back to crime after a period of time. The reality of Ben's death sentence, however, is far from what it appears to be, as he awakens in the vicinity of an abandoned psychiatric facility and is informed that he has been employed as the groundskeeper. Ben must determine if he has actually dodged death, or whether he has become a part of something far more terrible, as the state of his soul is called into question, and his love for his wife and daughter becomes all the more real and passionate.
