The tale of the Podolsk cadets' brave stand outside Moscow in October 1941. Cadets were sent to the Ilyinsky line, battling alongside systems from the Soviet 43rd Military to keep back the German advance till reinforcements showed up. Hopelessly exceeded, young men set their lives in a battle lasting virtually 2 weeks to obstruct the much superior German forces progressing towards Moscow. Around 3,500 cadets as well as their commanders were sent to stand up the last line of protection outside Moscow. A lot of them continued to be there for endless time.
