Littlefoot learns a sequence of lessons that his species refers to as "Wisdoms" after an incident that nearly claimed the life of his grandmother. In the meantime, a trio of dimwitted Beipiaosauruses named Loofah, Doofah, and Foobie arrive in the Great Valley and behave oddly towards Littlefoot and his group. Littlefoot is determined that they learn the "Wisdoms," and the trek to Berry Valley, the one location the three have ever desired, commences.
