Iron Fisted Monk, the directorial debut of heavyweight HK icon Sammo Hung, is a powerful old school kung fu film that features the portly one at his physical best on screen while also directing the shots behind the camera. Husker (Sammo) is a Shaolin monk student who is learning kung fu in order to avenge his uncle who was killed by the province's evil Manchus. He skips out on his training to teach a group of manufacturing workers how to protect themselves. When the Manchus raid the factory and slaughter everyone, Husker and his Buddhist pal decide it's time to make amends.
