The House Where the Mermaid Sleeps
Kaoruko and Kazumasa Harima have two children and are no longer together. They want to get a divorce when their daughter Mizuho starts first grade. One day, they find out that their daughter is in a coma after almost drowning at a pool. This is terrible news. Doctors say she is brain dead and can't get better, so the couple must decide if they want to give her organs to people who need them or wait until her heart stops beating.
