The Homesman
When three women living on the edge of the American frontier go crazy because of how hard life is there, it is up to the religious and independent Mary Bee Cuddy to save them. As she drives the women to Iowa in a covered wagon, she soon realizes how hard the trip will be and hires a drifter named George Briggs to help her. The unlikely pair and the three women head east, where a minister and his wife have offered to take in the women. But first, the group has to go through the harsh Nebraska Territories, which are full of stark beauty, mental danger, and constant danger.
