The Goob
In Fenland, England, we're experiencing a heat wave. Each of Goob Taylor's sixteen summers have been spent assisting Mum in running the transport cafe and harvesting the neighboring beet fields. When Mum marries swarthy stock-car supremo and ladies' man Gene Womack, Goob gets pushed aside. When exotic beet picker Eva comes, Goob's world is turned upside down. Goob fantasizes about greater things as a result of her seductive remarks.
