Scientist Max Bernholm finds that by connecting himself to a computer server, he can get "the human feel." This is a mix of virtual technologies and human touch interaction. This lets people who use the program called "The Generator" feel the same way that the human subjects did when they were connected to their computers. Leander, the captain of the subjects, came to the virtual world as a child and was trained to make other people's dreams or fantasies come true. But when Max starts to lose control while trying out his new mind-control technology, Leander and Natalia are drawn into a dangerous game. Max can only be stopped if Leander risks his life, but if he wins, he could not only save his own life but also the lives of those he loves.
