Young Mitch McDeere is an individual who has a bright career ahead of him in the field of law. Just before he was about to take his bar test, he was approached by "The Firm," which presented him with an offer that he could not reject. He is so easily swayed by the lavish amounts of money and gifts that are lavished on him that he is completely blind to the shadowier aspects of his organization.
