Kentaro Saeki (Haruma Miura) is a young lawyer who continually failing his bar exam and has no idea what to do next. A freelance writer is his older sister Keiko. Their grandpa Kyuzo Miyabe (Junichi Okada), who died in World War II while serving in the special forces, is the focus of their first investigation. Kyuzo Miyabe, their paternal grandpa, was both scared of and fixated on death. It's not clear exactly why he enlisted in the special operations troops. Kyuzo Miyabe, according to his fellow sailors, was both a genius and a coward. After 60 years, Kentaro and Keiko uncover the horrifying reality.
