The Eel
When Yamashita, a white-collar worker, learns that his wife is having an affair while he is gone, he goes home unexpectedly and murders her. The eel he "befriended" in prison is the only person he interacts with when he returns to the little village where he lives and establishes a barber shop. This happens one day and it brings back memories of his wife's suicide attempt and reminds him of her. In his shop, she starts to work, but he doesn't let her get too close to him.
