Six years have passed since Freddy Gale's daughter was killed in a hit-and-run accident, and he is still waiting for the release of John Booth, the man responsible. Gale pays Booth a visit on the day of his parole and informs him that he will kill him in one week. Booth uses his free time to try to reconcile himself with himself and his crew, and he even finds love during this period of time. Gale, whose life is sliding downward as a result of his fixation with Booth, will push himself to the brink of insanity. Both guys will find themselves on a collision path with each other before the conclusion of the week.
