Jackie (Carly Hughes), a rising journalist, finds herself at a crossroads until she discovers an unexpected opportunity to lead a small-town newspaper in Alaska. Jackie decides to give it a go and moves to the idyllic tiny town. She swiftly returns the newspaper to profitability with a series of Christmas pieces, and she soon falls in love... with her new house as well as the attractive son of the paper's former owner. Jackie, on the other hand, will need a Christmas miracle to save the paper when her old employer announces plans to take over the publication for herself.
