Because of their belief that Romania's vast network of previously unexplored caves contains a previously undiscovered species-producing eco-system, an international team of underwater cave explorers has been assembled to assist the group of biologists who recently made their groundbreaking discovery. After a rockslide prevents them from exiting the underwater caves, they find themselves prey to a larger predatory species.
