Liz Jennings moves to the little Texas hamlet of Brockmeyer after inheriting a house from a recently deceased grandfather she never met before. Liz is greeted with a surprise visit from Seamus "Shame" Fuller, a popular Austin conspiracy radio show host who has become well-known in recent years. In a letter to Liz, Shame explains that he has evidence to believe her grandfather was engaged in the killing of President John F. Kennedy in 1963.
