Irvine Stone's novel, "The Sistine Chapel," is made into a movie starring Charlton Heston as Renaissance artist Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, who paints the Sistine Chapel for an angry Pope Julius II. It's a book about Michelangelo's life from birth to death, but the movie is about his battle with an impatient Pope who wants him to finish painting a famous chapel quickly.
