A car breakdown isolates Don and Nancy (David James Elliot and Heather Marsden) in a small rural Louisiana town on their way to a weekend trip. The town's unfriendly Sheriff Taylor (Jeff Fahey) warns the couple their automobile won't be repaired before morning. He points them to a neighboring motel managed by Carter (Michael Madsen). Don and Nancy have no idea how the dirty, decrepit establishment treats strangers. The Sheriff, like a gang of wicked, masked kidnappers, torturers, and murders, reports to Carter. It's too late for Don and Nancy to flee. Terror Trap awaits them if they do not battle to survive the night.
