Buck Rand, the proprietor of the circus, kidnaps Boy and forces him to perform in his act. He has a pilot fly him, Boy, and their animal trainer out of the forest. Tarzan and Jane are the ones who accompany them to New York. Tarzan becomes violent and is imprisoned during a custody trial for Boy. Tarzan (who has now escaped by diving off the Brooklyn Bridge) locates the circus with the assistance of the pilot's girlfriend. He and the elephants from the circus finish the classic rescue.
