Take What You Can Carry is a portrait of a young woman as seen via the interiors she occupies and the company she keeps. It's a character study as well as a meditation on communication, creativity, and physical space. Lilly, a North American living abroad, seeks to create her own intimate and private space while being connected to the rest of the globe. When she receives a letter from home, it acts as a catalyst for her to fuse her transient self with the person she's always been.
