Suddenly
Four assassins, commanded by Baron, pose as Secret Service officials in order to seize ELLEN's house. Her house provides an ideal sniper position for their assassination attempt on the President during his visit to the small hamlet of Suddenly. Except for one, TODD, the men deceive the local cops. Todd, a disgraced former war hero and deputy who is now the town drunk, served with Ellen's late husband and has developed romantic affections for her over the years. His advances, however, are rebuffed. Todd pays a visit to the residence and immediately suspects Baron, but no one believes a drunk's ravings. Todd manages to kill one of Baron's guys once he knows what is going on, but is apprehended. Now, he and Ellen must work together to prevent Baron and his soldiers from assassinating the President.
