Straw Dogs
Amy, a citizen of the United Kingdom, and David Sumner, a mild-mannered professor originally from the United States, get married. David and his wife go from the busy lifestyle they had in the United States to the sleepy hamlet in rural Cornwall where Amy spent her childhood. There, David is shunned by the savage men of the community, including Charlie, who was formerly Amy's romantic interest. Amy was eventually raped by two of the neighborhood residents as the taunts escalated to a more violent level. David's frighteningly aggressive side emerges as a result of the sexual assault that he experienced.
