Sixteen
Before he turns 16, Jumah needs to start over. He lives in west London with his adoptive mother, struggling to conceal his humiliating past as a child soldier in the Congo. One night, while out with a new companion for a rare carefree evening, Jumah experiences something that seems irreversibly lures him back to his old ways. As he and others begin to doubt his ability to ever cease being a soldier, he embarks on a journey to discover who he genuinely aspires to be.
