These are two stories: one is about how the German battleship Bismarck broke out of the harbor in early World War II, with Prinz Eugen, a heavy cruiser. There were two of the most powerful battleships in the European theater of World War II: the Bismarck and her sister ship, the Tirpitz. A big problem for the British Isles was that a lot of cargo ships were coming and going. The British Navy needs to find and destroy Bismarck before it can get into convoy lanes and cause a lot of damage. With eight 15-inch guns, it was able to destroy every ship in a convoy while staying out of the range of all Royal Navy ships at the same time.
