Matt Gordon returns to Singapore after the war to recover a fortune in smuggled pearls. When he arrives, he recalls his prewar fiancée, attractive Linda, and her disappearance after the Japanese attack via flashback. Linda reappears, but this time she's amnesiac and married to wealthy plantation owner Van Leyden. Meanwhile, the nefarious fence Mauribus plots to steal Matt's jewels.
