Romasanta
It seems as though a terror is stalking the land: individuals are missing on a regular basis, and their bodies are turning up covered in violent gashes and surgical incisions. Allariz's werewolf legend has spread across the country like wildfire, terrifying people and causing them to flee in fear. At first, Barbara (Elsa Pataky) is head over heels in love with traveling seller Manuel Romasanta, but she quickly grows wary of him and begins to suspect his motives. Her sister, who had been taken to the city by Romasanta, has vanished from sight, and it is unclear what has happened to her.
