Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years, but law enforcement in the United States is not allowed to use them. Now, OmniCorp wants to use their controversial technology on the home front, and they see a golden chance to do so. When Alex Murphy, a good husband, father, and cop who works hard to stop crime and corruption in Detroit, gets seriously hurt, OmniCorp sees an opportunity to build a part-man, part-robot police officer.
