Robin Hood
When the soldier Robin comes across Robert of Loxley as he is nearing the end of his life, he makes a promise to the dying man's family in Nottingham that he will return the sword that the man had been carrying. There, he adopts the name of Robert, begins a romantic relationship with Robert's widow, Marion, and earns the ire of the town sheriff as well as Godfrey, who is a henchman of King John.
