Michael 'Jay' Cochran has recently retired from the Navy after 12 years of service, and he is unsure of what he will do next, other than to take a vacation. The decision is made for him to see Tiburon Mendez, a powerful but questionable Mexican businessman whom he had previously flown to Alaska for a hunting expedition.
