Grandmother Mi Ja works part-time as a caretaker while also trying to raise her adolescent grandson on her own. While facing a difficult situation, she maintains a gentle demeanor, dresses in a fashionable manner, and embraces the world with a sense of wonderment. While taking a poetry class, she attempts to capture the essence of life in poetic form, but the early signs of Alzheimer's disease, as well as the financial and emotional strain caused by her grandson's stunning transgression, put a halt to her simple desire of finishing a poem.
