Reckless Mr. Jack Travis is an irreverent horror author who is well-known for scaring his audiences. His obsession with developing a new stage production centered in the haunted Scottish castle, however, causes demonic disturbances to emerge from deep inside the castle's walls, preying on his unhappy daughter. When the ominous supernatural forces begin to press in on him as well, Jack is forced to confront the dreadful implications of writing such a dark and gruesome piece of theater. Will he, however, recognize the danger of unearthing a historic curse and put down his pen before he damns himself, his personal sanity, and those he cares about for the rest of his life?
