Adrian is a young poet who decides to move to Spain from Romania. He wants to make a change in his life, make some money, and improve his Spanish skills. He works in a car dealership in Cordoba, selling both old and new cars, when he first arrives. He hides in a small trailer in the car dealership's parking lot during the day. Adrian comes across a parcel containing a CD and a banner for a flamenco/jazz band's upcoming tour. He is mesmerized by the music as well as the image of Maria, who is a member of the band and plays bass guitar. They meet after a beach concert and begin a passionate, troubled, and surprising relationship.
