A prominent landowner was killed in an automobile accident when Law, Luk's chauffeur, collided with his vehicle. Luk had an advantage in the native apartment construction agreement due to rumors that he was responsible for the death of the landowner.. When Law is released from prison five years later, the world has altered dramatically. His right-hand guy, Keung, too has his own purpose, which makes Luk's corporation even more formidable. However, things take an unexpected turn. Joe, Law's prison friend and computer wiz, helps Law drug Sean and his siblings in the drinks, then modifies their mobile phones for wiretapping. Joe gets to know the materialistic single mother Eva, who turns up to have a tragic history with both Law and Keung. Law realizes Keung's final plan, which might transform Hong Kong's land development forever, by eavesdropping.
