Mio is a girl in high school who likes to slack off. She hangs out in Ikebukuro with her childhood pal Arata and her best friend Madoka after school. One day, Madoka tells Mio she loves Arata, and Mio realizes she does, too. But she doesn't want them to break up, so she lies and says she'll help. Mio acts coldly toward Arata on purpose, and that makes them fight. She decides to try to make things right with Arata, but on her way to see him, she gets into a car accident. She wakes up somewhere strange. It's the same Ikebukuro she knows, but there's something different about it...
