Drama based on the kidnapping and murder of seven Algerian monks in 1996. They live in harmony with the predominantly Muslim inhabitants of Tibhirine. An army clash with Muslim Jihadi militants forces them to consider quitting the monastery and abandoning their parishioners, forcing them to consider suicide. An army and militants threaten to kill the monks if they don't stay and help their neighbors.
