When young Arab Sarah falls in love with American atheist Frank, he decides to propose to her hometown's witty Muslim lady. However, corrupt Islamic police apprehend them, demand money to release them, murder Sarah, and frame Frank for her murder. Frank begins a spiritual journey in jail after befriending his cellmate Ayman, a moderate Muslim, after being deported back to the United States. And, once his coworker is slain for inquiring about the judge's unlawful business, Frank's only option for proving his innocence is to flee and exact vengeance on him.
