Never Look Away
The film, which is based on true events and takes place over three decades in German history, depicts the narrative of Kurt, a young art student who falls in love with Ellie, a fellow student at the university. Ellie's father, Professor Seeband, is a well-known doctor who is disappointed in his daughter's choice of partner and pledges to end the relationship as soon as possible. None of them realize that their lives are already intertwined by a heinous crime perpetrated by Seeband decades before they ever met each other.
