My Way
While Korea is colonized by Japan, Jun-shik, who works on Tatsuo's grandfather's farm, dreams of competing in the Tokyo Olympics as a marathon runner. Tatsuo aspires to become a marathon runner as well, making the two competitors. However, war breaks out and they are both compelled to join the military. Tatsuo becomes the head of defense for Jun-unit, shik's where he fails to execute a plan he devised. Tatsuo and Jun-shik are being kept captive by the Soviets. They flee, but are quickly apprehended by the Germans and forced to separate. In 1944, they reunite on the Normandy beaches.
