My Brilliant Life
Unexpectedly, at the age of 17, Dae-su, who was formerly a promising taekwondo athlete with a "incompetent swing kick," and his girlfriend Mira, who aspired to be an idol, became teenage parents. They are now 33 years old and have a 16-year-old son named Ahreum. Ahreum matures exponentially quicker than the average person due to a genetic disease known as progeria, which is highly unusual. His body, despite the fact that he is only a teenager, has the proportions of a guy in his 80s. These young people, despite all of the negativity and challenges in their lives, continue to live day by day, accepting things as they come. When Ahreum's story is finally told, it will be broadcast on a national television station. What happens when he is unexpectedly thrust into the limelight, and his ordinarily drab days are suddenly filled with flashes of delight, joy, and sorrow?
