A nasty virus has spread throughout the human race, changing people into something else. After a short introduction (and a messy hit-and-run), we meet an ambulance with four people inside. Marco (Francis Renaud) and Sonia (Helene de Fougerolles) are riding with two police officers. As they head to a mythical research facility called NOAH that is said to be free of infections and working on a cure, tensions rise between them, and Sonia and Marco are forced to hide out alone in an abandoned building. She is pregnant, in love, and doesn't seem to be sick... she figures out that he's been infected. He slowly changes, but she doesn't give up on finding a cure because she loves him. Instead, she sets out to survive the onslaught of infected, attacks from marauders who are still human, and a growing threat from her baby's father.
