Love, identity, the universe, and sandwiches are all part of "Missed Connections," a romantic comedy from directors Brandon Ho and Joseph Reidhead that explores these themes and more. In this film, Marc Reid (Kevin O'Keefe), a disappointed romance novelist, is set up on a blind date with a young woman named Melissa by his too enthusiastic sister Julia (Sarah Kent). Marc (Tatum Langton) is a little less than excited about picking up Jessie (Tatum Langton) from the apartment complex instead of Melissa. Jessie and Marc run across old friends Gary (Bryce Chamberlain) and Mary (Renny Grames) as the night progresses, and they also make some new acquaintances. Entanglements arise due to Trent, the man who is dating Jessie (Lawrence Fernandez). Will Jessie and Marc, on the other hand, be able to find love? Can Jessie help Marc find romance and his passion for writing, or are they cursed to merely be another lost connection??
