HEO Kyun finds Ha-sun, a jester who resembles the monarch, and Gwang-hae is poisoned. When Gwang-hae is fully recovered, HEO Kyun proposes that Ha-sun assume the role of king. Ha-sun begins to examine the complexities of the issues argued in his court while assuming the role of king.
