Martha manages to break free from the cult she had been a member of for a number of years and reaches out to her sister Lucy, from whom she had become estranged, for assistance. Martha finds herself at the peaceful home in Connecticut that her sister Lucy shares with her new husband, Ted, but the memories of what she went through in the cult make it difficult for her to find serenity.
