Maleficent
Maleficent, a lovely, virtuous young woman, grew up in a peaceful forest kingdom until an invading army threatened the serenity of the realm. Maleficent rises to become the land's toughest defender, but she ultimately suffers a terrible betrayal, which begins to turn her heart to stone. Maleficent, intent on retribution, engages in a titanic struggle with the invading King's successor and, as a result, lays a curse on his newborn child Aurora. Maleficent discovers that Aurora holds the key to peace in the realm, as well as to her own genuine happiness, as the child matures.
