Legiony
A universal narrative of growing up in terrible times. The great history is the backdrop for the love tale of Józek, a tsarist deserter who joins the Legions, Ola, an intelligence agent for the I Brigade and Women's League member, and Tadek, her fiancee, a Shooting Team member. The film features several historical people, including fake characters based on real legionnaires. Brigadier Józef Pilsudski, Lieutenant "King" Stanislaw Kaszubski, and others. The film focuses on the Legion's fighting track from 1914-1916, from Oleandry to Kosciuchnowka, and shows the most dramatic cards of the legionary saga, including the renowned uhlan onslaught at Rokitna - one of the film's most magnificent scenes.
