Chief B (Danny Lee) is an outspoken member of the CID who prefers to resolve situations by gut rather than following the rules of the department. As a member of the CID, he is a down-to-earth man who is a mamma's boy, not overly educated, and is a standout performer. Eddie Chan plays Police Officer Kit (Eddie Chan), who has recently been promoted from the rank-and-file to the CID while also preparing for the examination to become an Inspector. When he joins Chief B's team, he is given the opportunity to investigate various gang-related cases. Kit, who had previously been a rule-following police officer, gains a great deal from Chief B.
