Last Orders
During his more than 50-year career as a butcher in London, Jack Dodd relished a good pint with his buddies. At the time of his death, he died just as he had lived: with a smile on his face, while sitting on the sidelines of a horse race that he had gambled on with borrowed money. Prior to his death, he made one final request, which he designated as 'Last Orders,' which directed that his ashes be spread in the sea off the coast of London. During their voyage to the sea with the ashes, the film follows Ray's friends, Lenny and Vic, as well as his foster kid Vince. The strands of their lives, their loves, and their disappointments are knitted together in their recollections of Jack and his wife Amy as they go down the road.
