On his way to Rio de Janeiro, kickboxing champion David Sloan fights in an exhibition. While traveling in Brazil with his instructor, Xian takes pity on Marcos Coasta, an orphaned brazilian scoundrel who works as a tour guide but steals money from visitors on a regular basis to give to his older sister Isabella. While sparring with Marcelo, David witnesses Marcelo abusing a kind local sparring partner. Lane, his nefarious US manager, is to blame for this. There are some unpleasant schemes he has for making David cheat, including running a white slavery racket.
