The plot revolves around two childhood sweethearts, Pooja and Blackie, who are separated as a result of circumstances that occurred when they were children. With a backpack full of stolen cash, Pooja, an 18-year-old prostitute, prepares to flee the brothel when she turns 18. She runs across Blackie, who has transformed himself as a very 'chalu' Bombay cab driver. In exchange for a substantial sum of money, he agrees to 'drive' her to freedom. This sets off a sequence of chases and escapes, with the goons chasing Pooja and the cops chasing the goons.
