Errol Flynn's pre-Hollywood maritime excursions up the east coast of Australia are chronicled in this film. Aside from Rex, a wild and visceral young man who serves as his best buddy, his crew also comprises the Dook, a proper young gent from Cambridge, and Charlie, the aged and melancholy former owner of the boat.
